Accommodation - instructions
1. PAYMENT OF DEPOSIT
According to Internal Regulation no. 13/2022 - Directive of the Rector of the University of Bratislava in Bratislava, every student staying in the accommodation facility of the University of Bratislava is required to pay a deposit of €100. The deposit is used to secure any claims of the accommodation facility of the Comenius University against the student.
If the accommodation contract is concluded for a period of 10 months, the student has the option of paying the deposit in 2 installments:
1. The first installment of the deposit in the amount of €50 is paid together with the price for accommodation for the month of September 2022. The deposit must be credited to CU Mlyny account by 30.08.2022.
2. The second installment of the deposit in the amount of €50 is paid together with the price for accommodation for the month of February 2023. The deposit must be credited to CU Mlyny account no later than January 31, 2023.
If the student does not pay the first installment of the deposit by August 30, 2022, he loses the right to allocated accommodation in CU Mlyny.
After the proper handover of the accommodation premises - at the end of the accommodation and payment of all contractual obligations towards the accommodation provider (accommodation fee, contractual fines, caused damages, etc.) the deposit will be returned by bank transfer to the account of the accommodated student.
2. PAYMENT OF THE PRICE FOR ACCOMMODATION
According to Internal Regulation No. 13/2022 - Directive of the Rector of the University of Bratislava in Bratislava, every student is obliged to pay the price for accommodation for the month of September 2022 until 30 August 2022.
If the student does not pay this fee within the set deadline, he loses the right to allocated accommodation in CU Mlyny.
Payment is considered to have been made when the price for the accommodation is credited to Mlyna UK's account.
The price for accommodation for the months of October - June (at "MI A, B, C, D" as well as July and August) is paid by the student according to the due date specified in the Accommodation Agreement and in the price list.
3. PAYMENT METHOD
Payments can only be made by bank transfer to the account number:
IBAN: SK41 8180 0000 0070 0067 1703, SWIFT (BIC): SPSRSKBA
As a variable symbol, it is necessary to enter university personal number of the student. Otherwise, the payment will not be recorded and will be considered unpaid.
For students of universities other than the UK, it is necessary to enter the generated number listed at https://konto.uniba.sk/bnlogin.aspx as a variable symbol
NOTE: A student who will be allocated additional accommodation will make the payment according to the instructions of the accommodation department of CU Mlyny.
4. ACCOMMODATION DATES
A student who has been assigned accommodation and has paid the deposit and price for accommodation for the month of September within the specified period can stay on weekdays from 09/02/2022 to 09/30/2022.
In the coming days, each student will receive a unique link to select (reserve) a date for accommodation in their email inbox. You can register for the accommodation date no later than 24 hours in advance and until the daily capacity is filled. During the day, the student chooses the lunchtime or afternoon interval during which he can come to stay at the corresponding accommodation station. After booking the date, a confirmation email with the selected date will immediately arrive.
Operating hours of the accommodation department: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 15:30.

5. ACCOMMODATION PROCEDURE
Students can stay exclusively on the bed that was assigned to them in the e-accommodation system or on the basis of an additional request. Exchanges will only be possible within the framework of relocation from 03.10.2022, unless anti-epidemic measures prevent this.
Students are obliged to follow the instructions of the accommodation facility and its employees. You can find the accommodation department on the ground floor in the High-rise building ("Sturák").
During the accommodation process, it is necessary to have with you:
- valid identity card (passport for foreign students),
- ISIC student card (does not apply to students who have not yet been issued one),
- an electronically signed contract (the student signs the contract in the system https://konto.uniba.sk/
Three accommodation stations will be established for the accommodation process.
For MI ("Married couple") and VBB ("Šturák"), there will be a common accommodation unit in the accommodation department (offices 2-4), which are located in the "Šturák" high-rise building.
2 accommodation units will be established for AD (Atrium houses), for blocks ADA, ADB, ADD, ADF, ADG, ADJ on the upper gatehouse, for blocks ADH, ADK, ADL, ADN, ADO, ADP, ADR, ADS and ADT on the lower gatehouse.
The student will be accommodated at the station according to which block he has a reservation.
At the station, they will receive the keys to the assigned room. The student cannot be accommodated by another authorized person.
If a student is interested in dormitory bed linen, he can pick it up in the bed linen warehouse (in the basement of the "Šturák" high-rise building) on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
6. OTHER OBLIGATIONS OF THE STUDENT
Each student before accommodation in CU Mlyny is obliged to:
- enter your bank account number in IBAN form via the web interface at https://konto.uniba.sk/. You log in to the interface as in the AiS2 system. In the case of students from universities other than the UK, on the web interface https://konto.uniba.sk/bnlogin.aspx.
- familiarize yourself with the provisions of the Boarding Rules of CU Mlyny.
Each resident is obliged to check the inventory according to the inventory list found in the room within 3 working days after taking over the assigned room. Missing inventory, hygienic and technical deficiencies must be reported within 3 days after taking over the assigned room via the FIXATIO application or to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org (applies to technical deficiencies of the room) and email@example.com ( applies to inventory and hygiene).
In the event that the accommodated person is a student of the Comenius University in Bratislava and has changed the address of his permanent residence, it is necessary to update this information as soon as possible at the study department of the relevant faculty.
If the person staying is not a student of the Comenius University in Bratislava, he/she must report the change of permanent residence to the accommodation department.
The guests can update their mobile number or e-mail by themselves via E-wallet at https://moja.uniba.sk/.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR STUDENTS COMING TO UJOP, ERASMUS+ OR ANOTHER EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Erasmus+ students and other mobility programs will register in office no. 2, in the VBB "Šturák" high-rise building, where they will also receive the keys to the assigned room.
UJOP students will register in office no. 2, in the VBB "Šturák" high-rise building. After registration, they will go to collect the key at the lower ADR gatehouse.
CANCELLATION OF ACCOMMODATION
A student cannot transfer a reserved bed to another student at his own choice.
If the student does not pay the price for the accommodation and the payment of the deposit within the set deadlines, his right to the allocated accommodation will cease.
Cancellation of a reserved bed must be reported from the university email account to the address firstname.lastname@example.org by September 7, 2022. In this case, the price for accommodation will be refunded to the student's account entered through the e-wallet. Deposits of newly admitted applicants are non-refundable in case of cancellation of the reservation.
A student who does not start accommodation by September 30, 2022 at the latest loses the right to an assigned bed. If the student is interested in entering the allocated bed only in the month of October, he is obliged to pay the price for the accommodation for the month of October no later than 30.09.2022. Payment is considered to have been made when the price for the accommodation is credited to Mlyna UK's account.
Transfer from summer accommodation to a room allocated for the new AR 2022/23 (applies only to those currently accommodated)
-CU students who stabilized their last year's room and are currently living in it can electronically sign the contract for AR 2022/2023 from 24/08/2022 and after signing it is necessary to notify the accommodation department by email + attach a confirmation of payment of the September rent to the address email@example.com. After a confirmation email from the accommodation department, they can be considered accommodated.
-CU students who have stabilized or selected a room at ADF, ADG, ADJ, ADR, ADO, due to the completion of reconstruction and maintenance work, can stay in their room assigned to AR no earlier than 02.09.2022. Is necessary:

- CU students who have been assigned a new room for AR 2022/2023 (and it is not a room for ADF, ADG, ADJ, ADR, ADO) are obliged from 23.08. by August 26, 2022, move to this room (this does not apply to blocks MI A - D. It is necessary:
- sign the contract electronically in your e-wallet https://konto.uniba.sk/
- come to the accommodation department, check whether the bed is free and collect the key,
- move out by the next working day, clean the room according to the instructions, book a date for the room inspection in the reservation system
- come to the accommodation department with a confirmed check-out ticket.
Students who are interested in summer accommodation until the end of the month and are accommodated in a block other than VBA (does not apply to MI A - D) and will not continue in CU Mlyny from the new AR, are obliged to 19.08. - 22.08. come to the accommodation department to receive the key and move to the VBA block for the period 23.08.2022 - 31.08.2022.
Check-out must take place no later than 31.08.2022 by 11:00 a.m.
Until 19.8. including, every resident who wants to completely check-out from the summer accommodation must print out a check-out ticket, then call room control (the contact can be found on the check-out ticket) and visit the accommodation department with a confirmed check-out ticket.
