UNDERAGE STUDENTS
Underage students must be accompanied by an authorized person or a legal guardian when signing the accommodation contract or terminating it prematurely.
Power of attorney:
- It must be granted by the legal guardian and signed by both parents of the minor. Only one person can be authorized.
- It must be notarized and include the signatures of the principals (parents) and the authorized person (the person acting on behalf of the parents of the minor).
- You can use our CU POWER OF ATTORNEY in Slovak or in English (translation is not required). If you have the authorization in Ukrainian, an officially certified translation into Slovak will be required.
- If a parent/legal guardian or an authorized person does not accompany the student, the student will not be allowed to check-in.
The accommodation contract for an underage student must be signed by the legal guardian or the authorized person directly at the accommodation office, accompanied by the underage student. An electronic version is not sufficient for accommodation procedures.
