RELOCATION
It is possible to move to another bed from October 1., 2024.
You may request a room or bed change for the following reasons:
Exchange of beds with another accommodated student
- Room change based on available capacity
In case of a mutual exchange:
- Each student must independently find another accommodated person with whom to swap beds.
- Both students must clean their original rooms according to the cleaning instructions and take out the trash on the same day.
- Then, both call for a room inspection. The inspector will check the rooms, collect the room keys, and confirm the check-out ticket.
- If you have rented bed linen and do not wish to take it with you to the new room, you may return it to the linen storage (Átriáky, Block T basement, open from 7:00 to 14:45).
- After completing these steps, both students must come to the accommodation office together, present their ISIC cards and confirmed check-out tickets, and finalize the administrative process. A relocation fee of €6.15 per person will be charged.
In case of a room change based on available capacity:
The student first contacts the accommodation office to check for available rooms. If a new room is agreed upon, the student visits the office in person and receives a key to the new room.
Personal belongings must be moved by the next business day.- After moving out, the student must clean the original room according to the cleaning instructions and remove any trash.
- The student then call a room inspection; the inspector checks the room, collects the key, and confirms the check-out form.
- Finally, the student goes to the accommodation office with their ISIC and confirmed check-out form to complete the administrative process. A relocation fee of €6.15 is charged.
The fee for changing accommodation is 6,15 euros. In one day, the accommodated person can change rooms only once. It is not possible to re-accommodate an accommodated student with a substitute for a student who went on an exchange stay in the winter semester (both persons must have accommodation by the same date).
Students who arbitrarily change their accommodation will be dealt with in offence proceedings. Penalty for arbitrary relocation is determined according to the current Boarding Regulations.
*Underage students must be accompanied by an authorized person or a legal guardian. You can use our CU POWER OF ATTORNEY in Slovak or in English (translation is not required). If you have the authorization in Ukrainian, an officially certified translation into Slovak will be required.
